Wildlife Rescue_Transport Class.jpg

What does being a Rescue/Transport Volunteer entail?

  • Rescue/Transport Volunteers commit to one four hour "on call" shift each week. You will be on call from the comfort of your home.

  • Rescue/Transport Volunteers help us to rescue and transport injured and orphaned animals of all different species to our hospital.

How do I apply?

  • Fill out the form on the right of this page. (You will be emailed a receipt with the link to the class.)  If you do not receive, please email us at info@volunteersforwildlife.org

  • Attend the Virtual Training Class. (The class will be held through Zoom. Video must be enabled.)

  • Following the class, you will be scheduled for a brief in person orientation at our center prior to starting your commitment as a Rescue/Transport Volunteer.
